We all know that alcohol consumption is dangerous and even poses a huge threat to our health.

But alcohol is not the only beverage you should be careful about.

There’s a certain type of drink that’s extremely popular in the U.S. and all over the world.

It has spread like the plague and causes deaths by the thousands and millions, without any major health organization saying much about it.

And who would say anything against it?

The companies that manufacture these beverages are loaded with cash and can basically buy anyone to keep their mouths shut.

Celebrities beg to be in their commercials, actors are excited to be represented by them, and even some politicians want a bite of the ”cheese”.

Can you guess what drink I am talking about?

You’re probably drinking one right now, or enjoy sipping it when you’re out with friends or at a birthday/holiday party.

Have you guessed it yet?

I’m talking about soft drinks.

The silent killers, endorsed by everyone, except a few courageous companies and doctors that warn people about their long-term deadly side effects.

Because although they taste so sweet, soft drinks are poisonous.

What types of soft drinks are dangerous to your health?

  • Coca-cola
  • Isotonic or energy drinks
  • Diet and low-calorie soft fizzy drinks

These drinks, not only tragically shorten your lifespan but also cause inflammation that spreads like wildfire causing painful conditions like digestive issues, circulatory problems, and even cancer.

Researchers, to test their theory, conducted a study that revealed the following:

“consuming two or more glasses per day of total, sugar-sweetened, and artificially sweetened soft drinks was linked to a higher risk of death from all causes in comparison to consuming hardly any soft drinks.”

And this was confirmed for both men and women.

Not only that, but scientists also ruled out other influencing factors like physical activity, smoking, diet, etc., which means that the consumption of soft drinks is very dangerous.

More analysis revealed that:

  • People who consume two or more glasses per day of artificially sweetened soft drinks are more at risk of developing circulatory diseases.
  • People who consume two or more glasses per day of sugar-sweetened soft drinks are more at risk of developing digestive diseases.

Now, is there something you can do?

Of course, if you’re drinking soft drinks, there’s a healthier alternative, fresh fruit juice.

Make it at home, and not only it will taste better, but it will also pack a vitamin punch that your body surely needs.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

I can’t wait to read all about it, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me.
